Welcome to Pixelate

A pixel-based  2d retro game coded in Python / Pygame and ModernGL.

The game is not in final stage and I am looking for feedback

How to play

A quick dialog tutorial when starting a world.

Features (don't need to read)

• Pixel collect
• Machines: craft, laptop with 3d plan, chest
• Entities, combat
• World upgrade (test my game to see what it is)
• Random world generation + biomes
• Shaders (to unlock)
• 16px graphic mode (to unlock)
• Painting block (to grind), Book item (grind it for writable book)
• Light decadence (more your far from your house more it is dark, can be used to find your way back)

Graphics  (don't need to read)

I suck at graphics and mischoiced the palettes... Most work is mine except the player, the 16px slime, the fonts and 2 OSTs

Performance  (don't need to read)

Could have done a lot more than that, but runs smoothly on highschool laptop with no graphics card so i guess no problem

Keybinds  (tried to make them intuitive, major use of mouse)

- ZQSD / WASD / arrows to  move

- E / click to use machines

- F / drag to drop item (SHIFT / middleclick to drop all at once)

- SPACE / click to use item

- TAB to show/hide secondary inventory bars

- ESC to pause

- Use middleclick to drag all the items at once (not 1 by 1)
